On Saturday, 4/17/21 around 9:30 PM a car struck two pedestrians at East Spring Street and North Lumpkin Street. Both pedestrians were taken to Piedmont Walton Hospital with non-life-threatening. At this intersection there is no crosswalk or light.
This comes a day after another pedestrian accident; on Friday afternoon a 23-year old woman was hit on West Spring Street at Wayne Street. The woman was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. There was a crosswalk and traffic light at this intersection.
The Brown Firm hopes for a quick recovery for the victims.
