On Thursday, April 8, around 2:45 a.m., a fatal accident occurred in the eastbound lanes near Flat Shoals Parkway in Atlanta. The accident was caused by a woman driving the wrong way on I-285, hitting another driver head-on, which then crashed into another vehicle. The wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the driver that was hit head-on did not survive. The driver of the third vehicle is expected to make a full recovery.
